Capture Renaissance History on iPhone

Bring existing Renaissance Reading Practice quiz history into Shark Reader directly on the iPhone. No Mac or Windows utility is required. For new quizzes after history is caught up, Automatic Quiz Email remains the recommended ongoing method.

How it works

  1. On the iPhone, open Shark Reader → Settings → Advanced → Capture Renaissance History on iPhone.
  2. Open the Renaissance URL you normally use and sign in directly on Renaissance's webpage inside Shark Reader.
  3. Navigate to Progress → My Completed Work and wait for the Reading Practice quiz cards to load.
  4. Tap Capture History and keep Shark Reader open while it scans the history and related detail/TOPS pages.
  5. Shark Reader saves capture progress as it works and prepares Renaissance-Current.sharkreader.
  6. Use the existing Import .sharkreader File action in Settings → Advanced to bring the captured history into Shark Reader when needed.

What history capture can preserve

The capture can preserve quiz score, quiz date, book information, quiz number, exact AR points when exposed, AR/ATOS level, word count, and the current Renaissance reading range when available. Capture saves progress as records are validated so a longer history run does not have to wait until the end to preserve results.

Privacy

You sign in directly on Renaissance's webpage in Shark Reader's in-app WebKit browser. Shark Reader does not intentionally place your Renaissance password, browser cookies, authorization headers, or browser session tokens in the .sharkreader history file. WebKit can retain normal website sign-in state on the iPhone; use Clear Renaissance Browser Sign-In when you want to clear that browser session.
